3. What is Sure Deposit?
Sure Deposit is a program that allows residents to move in for less money up front than a traditional security deposit would require. Instead of paying a standard refundable security deposit of $500.00 or 1 month's rent, the resident has the option to pay a non-refundable premium of $87.50 for standard approval or $175 for conditional approval. This non-refundable premium, purchases a surety bond that provides protection to the management company in the event that the resident moves out owing money or damages.
